Our operations and management

A volunteer Board of Trustees has overall responsibility for the centers. Our Program Coordinator manages operations between our centers, monitors supplies and mentors our managers. The Newark and Dover centers each employ a part-time, paid manager, and the Paterson center is staffed by a volunteer manager. Our center in Clifton will employ a part-time, paid manager.

How are we funded?

North Porch receives funds through outreach efforts of many Parishes and organizations and from concerned individuals and granting agencies. Many supplies and all clothing are donated. The needs of North Porch clients are continuous, and there is a constant need for supplies to help these young women and their children.
